Our Diagnostics
Renal Function Tests
Renal Function Tests play a central role in dialysis care by evaluating how well the kidneys are working. These tests measure levels of urea, creatinine, and other critical markers in the blood. At STM Foundation, RFTs are regularly conducted to assess the progression of kidney disease and determine how effectively dialysis is supporting the patient’s condition.
Complete Blood Count
A Complete Blood Count is essential in managing the overall health of dialysis patients. Many individuals with chronic kidney disease are at risk of anemia. A CBC provides valuable insight into red and white blood cell counts and hemoglobin levels, helping clinicians detect imbalances early and manage symptoms effectively.
Electrolyte Monitoring
Maintaining a safe balance of electrolytes is critical for dialysis patients. Tests for sodium, potassium, calcium, and phosphorus are performed routinely to avoid life-threatening complications like heart arrhythmias or bone disorders.
